Guidelines on preparing patients after cardiac surgery to invasive dental treatment

Although many patient undergone cardiac surgery and taking anticoagulants need invasive dental treatment, there are no guidelines for dentists on this kind of treatment, especially on the bleeding and inflammation prevention. The article accumulates the skills obtained as a result of long-term collaborating between dental and cardiac surgery department in The Russian Railways Central Hospital № 2.
