Африка: устойчивое развитие и дипломатия диалога: Ежегодник – 2017

Очередной выпуск ежегодной серии «Африканские исследования», подготовленный с участием ученых-африканистов РУДН и Института Африки РАН, Института востоковедения РАН, Института США и Канады РАН, посвящен актуальным вопросам мира и развития на африканском континенте, кризиса в африканских условиях европоцентрической модели «нация-государство». В центре внимания находятся проблемы диалога и созидательного сотрудничества стран Африки в интересах достижения целей устойчивого развития, формирования активной позиции мирового сообщества по предотвращению конфликтов в Африке, регионального сотрудничества по противодействию международному терроризму, особенностей дипломатии малых африканских стран (Габон) и политического процесса с участием АНК на Юге Африки. Также рассматриваются участие Китая в развитии транспортной инфраструктуры Африки, роль Северной Африки при проведении операции «Хаски» (1943), проблема имиджа первой леди как элемента имиджа главы государства, возможные направления сотрудничества России и Марокко в сфере изучения и добычи природных ископаемых.

Africa: Sustainable Development and the Diplomacy of Dialogue: Yearbook – 2017

This issue of the annual African Studies series, prepared with the participation of Africanist scholars from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences, deals with topical problems of peace and development on the African continent and the crisis in the African conditions of the Eurocentric nation-state model. The main focus is on the problem of dialogue and constructive cooperation among the countries of Africa in the interests of achieving the goals of sustainable development, the formation of the world community’s active stand on preventing conflicts in Africa, regional cooperation on opposing international terrorism, specific features of the diplomacy of lesser African countries (Gabon), and the political process with the participation of the African National Congress in the South of Africa. Particularly examined are such problems as the participation of China in the development of Africa’s transport infrastructure, the role of North Africa in carrying out Operation Husky (1943), the problem of the image of the first lady as an element of the image of the head of state, and the possible areas of cooperation between Russia and Morocco in surveying and prospecting for mineral deposits.
