HIGHER EDUCATION LANDSCAPE: COVID 19 AND EMERGENCY REMOTE LEARNING

Due to the new COVID-19 virus, students and teachers were forced to change the format of education and switch to distance learning. To get the result of how it affected the quality of students' knowledge, this qualitative analysis of articles was performed. The aim of the work was to study articles on the impact of COVID-19 on higher education from 2020 to 2022 and analyze the results obtained. With the help of this Scopus database, 30 articles were analyzed in detail. The articles studied were divided into three main categories: technical inequality, students' opinion, teachers' opinion. The article examines the question of how the pandemic has affected progress in education. The analysis shows how the changed format has affected education, and also identifies the main problems faced by students and teachers. The results of the review can be used by in-service teachers and all those who are interested in the specific problems described.
