Psychological health of people has become a big problem of global world culture in connection with the emergence of the covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this systematic review was to analyze the published literature on the influence of self-awareness and empathy in conditions of deviation from the usual lifestyle during the pandemic. The methodology of bibliometric analysis was used. The Scopus database was used to extract documents in peer-reviewed journals for the study period from 2019 to 2021.As a result the number of extracted documents amounted to 516. 83.9% of the articles were eliminated due to inconsistency of the scientific field of research. The remaining articles were checked for compliance with the topic and included in a systematic review. Their number is 30. According to the subject field review conducted, the Covid-19 pandemic reflected the clear need to study the relationship between self-awareness and empathy. In-depth study of these concepts is especially important for improving the epidemiological situation and mental health of people. The results of this review can be used by practitioners to improve their work.
