ЧТО ЗНАЧИТ СЛОВО «КАМПУС»: ВЗГЛЯД СТУДЕНТОВ И ПРЕПОДАВАТЕЛЕЙ

В данной статье содержатся результаты части исследования, которое проводится на кафедре общего и русского языкознания филологического факультета Российского университета дружбы народов и нацелено на изучение языкового ландшафта кампуса интернационального университета. В представленной части исследования определяется объем содержания слова «кампус» на основе анализа словарных дефиниций, официальных документов и данных языковых корпусов. Авторами статьи был проведен опрос преподавателей и студентов РУДН для выявления объема понятия «кампус» в восприятии академического сообщества.

WHAT DOES THE WORD «CAMPUS» MEAN: THE VIEW OF STUDENTS AND PROFESSORS

This article is based on the results of a part of the research carried out at the Department of General and Russian Linguistics of RUDN University, which aims to study the linguistic landscape of the campus of an international university. The presented part of the research determines the scope of the content of the word "campus" based on the analysis of dictionary definitions, official documents and language corpus data. The authors of the article have interviewed professors and students to find out the volume of the word "campus" in the perception of the academic community.
