This article represents the analysis of the impact of the global financial crisis on the dynamics and structure of FDI in Latin America and the Caribbean. The research will focus on aspects of FDI distribution by sector, receivers and investors in the region, FDI trends andprospects. Currently, FDI plays an important role in the development of Latin American countries because it is one of the major funding source of economic growth.
