BASIC METHODS AND ALGORITHMS FOR TEXT GENERATION

With the development of information technology, the amount of information, including text information, is growing very rapidly. The task of summarizing the text arose because of the need to analyze a large arrays of text documents. Summarizing is necessary for compressing texts for their accelerated analysis at the next stages. In this systematic review there were evaluated studies related to text summarization algorithms. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) Statement was followed by performing a literature search using two databases: Web of Science and Scopus. Studies including any description of text summarization algorithms are considered. A total of 288 articles since the beginning of 2017 year were identified via databases and 15 met the inclusion criteria. Two studies were selected as high grades. The article presents the current state of automatic text summarization after conducting appropriate investigations. The results of this study can be used as a starting point for the development and modification of text summarization systems.
