ENVIRONMENTAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL ANALYSIS OF NATURAL AND NATURAL-ANTHROPOGENIC SYSTEMS: CASE STUDY OF KOSTROMA OBLAST

Using the MSU Forests and the UNECE International Cooperative Programme on Integrated Monitoring of Air Pollution Effects on Ecosystems methodologies, the article presents the results of the environmental and geographical analysis of the state of the two areas in Kostroma Oblast. It has been established that the ecosystem of one of the study areas is currently under some anthropogenic load. Based on the results of the monitoring, recommendations are proposed to reduce the identified anthropogenic impact on the area.
