The problem of objectivity in the Social Sciences: an introduction [El problema de la objetividad en las Ciencias Sociales: una introducción]

The aim of this paper is to clarify why objectivity in the social sciences is a problem, what it consists of and to refer to some specific cases of authors who deal with it. Another aim of the presented paper is to address the problem of measurement in the social sciences. Finally, we present our own conclusions and opinions.
