The Evolution of Concepts Subject and Other in History of West Philosophy and Their Interpretation by G. Oberhammer (On the Base of Article "Der Ort, an dem sich Gott ereignet")

The article concerns the analyze of two main concepts of West European tradition of Philosophy. These are the concepts of subject and other. The research has been inspired by the work of Gerhard Oberhammer (b. 1929) The Place, Where God Is Accomplishing [Oberhammer 2011, 19-43]. It is interesting both from historical-philosophical and indological points of view, because in his article Oberhammer tries to apply the principles of religious hermeneutics for analyze of philosophical texts of vishishta-advaita tradition. Herewith the both concepts subject and other play an important role. In the order to clear the nuances of the way Oberhammer uses these concepts this article has been written.
