Digital Economic Infrastructure as A Necessary Condition for Technological Development

The digital infrastructure of the economic system is viewed as one of its subsystems, enhancing the innovative activity of economic entities and ensuring the emergence of a new economy. The advocates of the key role of digitalization in economic development argue that innovation and digital technology are at the core of technological advances and economic growth. This article presents evidence of the fact that digital infrastructure is a prerequisite for the country's innovation policy implementation to obtain a technological breakthrough and the transition to a new type of economy.
