Power calculation of modern engine mechanisms taking into account of the desaxial

The article deals with balancing of 5-cylinder four-stroke engines of the VR type with a desaxial crank mechanism and uniform alternation of flashes. Formulas allowing to find and analyze the inertial forces of the reciprocating moving masses and moments of these forces occurring in the VR-5 engines for any given value of the angle of the collapse of cylinders, the ratio of the crank radius to the length of the connecting rod and the relative displacement of the axis of the cylinder are given. A method of balancing the moments of inertia forces of rotating and reciprocating moving masses are proposed. © 2021, Univelt Inc. All rights reserved.
