Possible consequences of the ionosphere perturbation under the powerful radiowaves influence are considered. The main effects arising from nonlinear interaction of radiation with the propagation medium are described. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the problem of nonlinear interaction of concentrated wave beams for threshold and saturable nonlinearities. Under certain parameters, this interaction can lead to the complete destruction of the concentrated wave fields, as well as to the fusion of wave beams into a solitary wave of high power. To avoid this unsafe situation, it is necessary to automatically control the radio emission power. © 2021 The Authors.
