Method for improving the safety of diesel vehicles when operating on gas engine fuel (gas diesel engines)

The article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of using gas engine fuel in automobile diesel engines (gas diesel engines). The global energy crisis has become a catalyst for the search for an alternative to diesel fuel. In the 1980s, experiments were carried out with regard to the operation of gas diesel vehicles. The results demonstrated a decrease in the efficiency of transportation, attracted criticism from car users, and were terminated. However, some countries continue to study gas diesel engines. The authors propose their own method of achieving positive results in the development and operation of gas diesel vehicles. © 2020 The Authors. Published by ELSEVIER B.V.
