Sedimentary rocks that make up flysch strata of the Black Sea coast form abrasion-denudation natural formations. The intensity of denudation processes (flysch cliff activity) is one of the key factors in the formation of coastal landscapes and their biodiversity. In paper describes the study of the Black Sea flysch (Russian sector) conducted in situ at several specially selected sites. The paper also compares the characteristics of several sites located along the northwestern coast of the Black Sea - Abrau, Sukko, Big Utrish, including 2 more sites in the territory of Gelendzhik. Hiking routes along the coastline were compiled for all the above sites in order to describe the characteristics of flysch and monitor the dynamics of its denudation.
