В статье рассматриваются истоки, причины и направленность геополитической стратегии США в Прибалтике и роль Прибалтийских стран в этой стратегии. Анализируя роль стран Прибалтики в геополитической стратегии США, авторы акцентируют внимание на том, что они входят в состав одних из самых влиятельных международных структур - ЕС и НАТО. Но вместе с тем, отмечается что, фактическое положение этого региона свидетельствует об его политической и экономической зависимости, в первую очередь, от США.

US GEOPOLITICAL STRATEGY IN THE BALTIC COUNTRIES: ORIGINS, REASONS AND VECTORS

The article discusses the origins, causes and orientation of the US geopolitical strategy in the Baltic states and the role of the Baltic countries in this strategy. Analyzing the role of the Baltic countries in the geopolitical strategy of the United States, the authors focus on the fact that they are part of one of the most influential international structures - EU and NATO. But at the same time, it is noted that the actual situation of this region testifies to its political and economic dependence, primarily from the United States.
