Peculiarities of the Sino-Mongolian relations: regional and national interests

The paper seeks to analyze China’s regional involvements in the region as well as the importance of Mongolian in its foreign policy objectives. The article theorizes the extent to which Mongolia’s proximity has influenced China’s regional policy direction. Findings of the study highlight how tourism, geopolitical, cultural and economic factors have helped strengthened and complemented China-Mongolian relations.
