A method for determining generalized van der Waals equation parameters from experimental data on liquid phase density and heat of vaporization in the temperature range from the triple point to the normal boiling point was developed. The parameters of the equation and critical point parameters were calculated for 16 metals. The calculated critical parameters of mercury, cesium, and rubidium agree with experimental data obtained in slow heating, and those of high-melting metals, with data obtained by the method of electrical explosion of conductors.
