Combination antiviral therapy in patients with severe herpes simplex virus infections: Clinical and immunological characteristics and assessment of patients’ quality of life

The article describes the current aspects in the study of the clinical features of the severe of herpes simplex (HS), new clinical and immunological data on the use of combined antiviral therapy of HS amoung adult patients, presents the results of an observational study of the use and impact on the quality of life of combined antiviral therapy of HS by Valaciclovir and Kagocel in compared with monotherapy with Valaciclovir, and also shows the advantages of combined antiviral therapy of HS in comparison with monotherapy with Valacyclovir. © 2019, Dynasty Publishing House.
