In modern market conditions, the catering industry is becoming one of the most promising areas for the development of the food industry in the Russian Federation. The article identifies the main trends in the development of the catering industry in Moscow. Based on the analysis, the author concluded that the catering industry in Moscow was developing at a high level and the development prospects of the industry were considered.
