ФИНАНСОВАЯ СИСТЕМА ЮЖНОЙ КОРЕИ: ОСНОВНЫЕ КОМПОНЕНТЫ

В статье отмечается, что экономика Южной Кореи является 4-й по величине в Азии и 11-й по величине в мире. Финансовая система Южной Кореи включает в себя: 1) финансовые рынки (Financial Markets), 2) финансовые институты (Financial Institutions) и финансовую инфраструктуру (Financial Infrastructure). Корея применяет интегрированную систему финансового надзора (integrated financial supervisory system), в которой Комиссия по финансовым услугам (Financial Services Commission (FSC)) и Служба финансового надзора (Financial Supervisory Service (FSS)) контролируют практически все финансовые учреждения страны. Структура финансового надзора в Корее претерпела серьезные изменения после финансового кризиса в Азии в 1997 г.

THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM OF SOUTH KOREA: THE MAIN COMPONENTS

The article notes that the economy of South Korea is the 4th largest in Asia and the 11th largest in the world. The financial system of South Korea includes: 1) Financial Markets, 2) Financial Institutions, and 3) Financial Infrastructure. Korea uses an integrated financial supervisory system, in which the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) controls almost all financial institutions in the country. The structure of financial supervision in Korea has undergone major changes after the financial crisis in Asia in 1997.
