IMPROVEMENT OF YARD SPACE IN RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS IN RUSSIAN AND FOREIGN CITIES

This article deals with improvement of intrahousehold spaces in urban residential development in Russia. Problems of landscape renovation in Russia and foreign countries were analyzed. Improvement of intrahousehold space is one of the most urgent problems of modern urban planning. The necessity of changes in landscape adjacent territories in Russian cities was proved. The authors considered foreign projects of internal courtyard spaces, analyzed both positive and negative design examples of such spaces in Russia. The article explains the necessity of competent space use in residential buildings with dividing it into functional zones. The authors also draw attention to the reasons for lack of quality and proper design and implementation of the project.
