CHANGES IN THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IN KAZAKHSTAN

The article deals with the problems of the agro-industrial sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan as one of the key sectors of the country's economy, which provides agriculture and processing industry with means of production. And not only the level of food security of the country, but also the socio-political stability of the state depends entirely on the degree of development of the agro-industrial sector. The economy of agriculture in the country is in crisis. The crisis in agriculture has led to the need for deep economic reforms, i.e. the development of new approaches to the creation of a system of state regulation of agricultural production. The main reason is the deep imbalance between the real sector of the economy and the financial sector, there is no mechanism of interaction between them. The food industry cannot saturate the domestic market for a wide range of products. Kazakhstan is dependent on imports of potatoes, vegetable oil, sugar, meat and meat products, milk and dairy products. During the period after the country's accession to the WTO and the EEU, significant results have been achieved: today the situation is improving and the competitiveness of the food industry remains stable growth.
