ОСНОВНЫЕ ПРОБЛЕМЫ АФРИКАНСКОЙ РЕГИОНАЛЬНОЙ ИНТЕГРАЦИИ

Руководители государств и правительств Африканского союза твердо привержены принятию и реализации решений для региональной интеграции, которые рассматриваются как общая стратегия развития континента. Основной целью континентального уровня является создание Африканского экономического сообщества в качестве последнего из шести последовательных этапов интеграции, включая укрепление межсекторального сотрудничества и создание региональных зон свободной торговли, валютного союза, общего рынка, денежно-кредитной системы и экономического союза, охватывающего весь континент. В настоящее время в Африке насчитывается 16 региональных экономических сообществ, и 8 из них официально признаны в качестве основы для развития африканского экономического сообщества. Цель этой статьи - проанализировать прогресс и проблемы региональной интеграции в Африке.

Problems of Regional Integration in Africa

State and government leaders of the African Union are strongly committed to adopt and implement decisions for regional integration, seen as a common strategy for the development of the continent. The major objective at continental level is the establishment of the African Economic Community as the last of six consecutive stages of integration, including the strengthening of inter-sectoral cooperation and the establishment of regional free trade areas, monetary union, common market, monetary and economic union, covering the entire continent. Currently there are 16 Regional economic communities in Africa and 8 of them are officially recognized as the foundation for the development of the African economic community. The aim of this article is to overview the progress and the problems of the regional integrations in Africa.
