FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT INFLOWS AND GROWTH IN NEPAL

This paper investigates the situation of foreign direct investment (FDI) and its relationship with gross domestic product (GDP) and trade of Nepal. The time period of date is from year 2004 to 2016. The result shows that there are positive relationship between FDI and GDP and FDI and trade. In addition, it suggested that to attract large investment in Nepal political stability is necessary along with infrastructure development and good trade union.

В данной статье рассматривается ситуация с прямыми иностранными инвестициями (ПИИ) и ее связь с валовым внутренним продуктом (ВВП) и торговлей Непала. Период времени - с 2004 по 2016 год. Результат показывает, что существует положительная связь между ПИИ и ВВП, а также ПИИ и торговлей. Также предполагается, что для привлечения крупных инвестиций в Непал необходима политическая стабильность наряду с развитием инфраструктуры и хорошим профсоюзом.
