Contextual Guess as One of Strategies for Teaching Foreign Students Reading in Russian

The article discusses the strategy of formation and development of skills of contextual guess when teaching foreign students reading texts in Russian. The authors proposed a complex of exercises that contribute to a successful understanding of the content of the text being read and the development of communicative competence as a whole (at the pre-university stage of study).
