UNIQUE FEATURES OF KIWI ENGLISH IN NEW ZEALAND

The uniqueness of the sociolinguistic situation in New Zealand lies in the joint influence of British, American, Australian, some local variants of the English language and the Māori language. All these factors marked the beginning of the formation of the New Zealand version of the English language.
