The article highlights the problem of self-realization of teachers and students in the modern educational environment. Such subjective prerequisites of participants of educational process as professional identity, responsibility, curiosity, diligence are considered. The main predictors of success of self-realization of teachers and students are analyzed, their detailed characteristic is given. In the framework of the study data revealing the relationship between the variables of professional identity and the components of self-realization are obtained. It is established that professional identity is directly dependent on the success of the subject's self-realization. The role of subject characteristics in self-realization of students and teachers is revealed.
