Сотрудничество стран БРИКС в области исследования и использования космического пространства

В связи с присоединением к мировым космическим державам новых участников, международное сотрудничество в области космоса неминуемо столкнется со многими проблемами и трудностями из-за разнообразия государственных интересов в этой стратегической сфере. Однако двустороннее и региональное сотрудничество оказалось осуществимым и относительно легким способом действовать сообща в сфере космоса для государств со схожим историческим путем развития и культурой, что в конечном итоге подводит к сотрудничеству в области космоса и на международном уровне. В статье рассматривается сотрудничество стран БРИКС в области исследования и использования космического пространства, главной особенностью которого является двустороннее сотрудничество. Стоит отметить, что общепринятый принцип сотрудничества в области космоса также применим и к государствам - членам БРИКС и существует необходимость дополнительных усилий для реализации более широкого охвата сотрудничества в области космических исследований между государствами-членами.

Cooperation among BRICS countries in the field of conducting research on and using outer space

The article aims to identify the prospects for cooperation among BRICS countries in the field of conducting research on and using outer space. In connection with the accession of new participants to the world space powers, international cooperation in the field of space will inevitably face many problems and difficulties due to the diversity of state interests in this strategic sphere. However, bilateral and regional cooperation has proved to be a feasible and relatively easy way to work together in the field of outer space for states with similar historical development and culture, which ultimately leads to cooperation in the field of outer space at the international level. The author of the article makes an attempt to analyse the cooperation among BRICS countries in the field of conducting research on and using outer space. The article points out that bilateral cooperation can be viewed as the main feature of such cooperation. It pays special attention to the fact that the generally accepted principle of cooperation in the field of space is also applicable to BRICS countries and there is a need for putting in a great deal of effort to ensure a wider scope of cooperation among member states in the field of space research.
