Models for periodic task scheduling based on combining data processing cycles to support the onboard navigation and control system of a UAV

We consider the actual problem of organizing processing of periodic tasks in on-board computers with limited computing resources to support autonomous functioning of a UAV. Models for periodic computing processes that combine (overlap) processing cycles are proposed. Optimization of the assignment of executive units to the phases of the data processing periodic algorithm is considered. We perform a statistical study to identify the criterion for the quality of obtained schedules. © 2019 IEEE.
