Piecewise-linear Lyapunov functions for linear stationary systems

A study of piecewise-linear Lyapunov functions for linear stationary systems, described by the vector differential equation, was presented. The study involved the derivation of upper estimate of the maximal number of generators of a piecewise-linear function. In regard to it, the characteristics for an asymptotically stable linear systems were also discussed.
