Synthesis of a novel crown-fused tetraphenylporphyrin

A modified Lindsey procedure was employed to obtain a novel tetraphenylporphyrin derivative bearing two fused crown ether rings. X-Ray analysis was used to determine the structure of the compound. © ISUCT Publishing.
