Eddy Current Monitoring of Defects in Ferromagnetic and Nonferromagnetic Materials

Abstract: Nondestructive monitoring of product quality is commonly used in mechanical engineering. In the present work, an eddy current method is used to investigate ferromagnetic (steel) and nonferromagnetic (copper) samples. By improving the eddy current transducer and the associated software and hardware, products may be automatically scanned, and test results may be quickly generated. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2025.
