DISPUTES IN SOUTH CHINA SEA: ANALYSIS CHINA’S CALCULATIONS AND ITS EFFECTS ON VIETNAMCHINA RELATION

The dispute in the South China Sea is one of the biggest political disputes in the world today. Since declaring its sovereignty over the South China Sea through the “nine-dash line” map, China has continuously posed a danger to the countries surrounding this sea area, regardless of international law on maritime sovereignty and the protests of the countries involved. The situation in the South China Sea from the beginning of the 21st century until now has always been difficult and volatile, with many potential risks surrounding China’s activities. Vietnam and China are neighboring countries, not only because of the location of the two countries but also because of their long history of struggle and diplomacy. China’s implementation of its policies in the South China Sea has affected the relationship between Vietnam and China. To understand the causes and calculations of China regarding the East Sea, it can be explained through a number of geopolitical theories and their effects on the relationship between Vietnam and China.

С момента объявления своего суверенитета над Восточным морем с помощью карты «девяти пунктирных линий» Китай постоянно провоцировал страны, окружающие это море, несмотря на международное право о морском суверенитете и ожесточенное сопротивление со стороны вовлеченных стран. Ситуация в Восточном море с начала XXI века до настоящего времени всегда была непредсказуемой и таит в себе множество потенциальных рисков возникновения конфликтов, связанных с деятельностью Китая. Вьетнам и Китай являются соседними странами не только изза географического положения этих двух стран, но и из-за их долгой истории борьбы и дипломатии. Реализация Китаем своей политики в Восточном море повлияла на отношения между Вьетнамом и Китаем.
