Application of data correlation analysis in the problem of emulation of spacecraft sensors

The article deals with the issues of building an emulator of a failed sensor, which is necessary to maintain the life cycle of a small spacecraft. Such an emulator is proposed to be built on the basis of a stable correlation of its data with data from other spacecraft sensors. On the basis of the performed studies, estimates of the root-mean-square deviation of the restored telemetry data from the reference values were obtained. It is shown that the proposed approach provides real-time data recovery with acceptable accuracy. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
