Purpose. To assess the effectiveness of standard and modified settings of the fujinon intelligent color enhancement (FICE) technology in the differential diagnostics of colon epithelial formations including their morphological type. Description of clinical cases. The presented clinical cases demonstrate the effectiveness of FICE modified mode in the endoscopic diagnostics of superficial epithelial neoplasms of the colon. The proposed technique simplifies routine examination and allows to determine a malignization potential of colon epithelial neoplasms. It also allows to determine the morphological type of epithelial formations in the large intestine during endoscopic examination. Conclusion. Fujinon intelligent color enhancement (FICE) technique in a modified mode makes the diagnostics of epithelial formations and selection of curative tactics more precise. © 2022 Global Media Technologies.
