MEDIA TEXT RESEARCH IN CHINESE SOCIETYAND CULTURE

The goal of the research is to combine the media theories and methods in Chinese society and culture. Media text analysis is a research method to analyze media content. It is also a kind of interpretation, an organic combination of theory and method, but also a strategy of socio-cultural practice. It discusses its theoretical foundation and summarizes four basic analysis techniques: symbols analysis, narrative analysis, type analysis and ideological analysis.
