EFFICIENCY OF ODOR REMOVAL DURING THE DECOMPOSITION OF BIOORGANIC WASTE COMPONENTS WITH THE USE OF MICROORGANISMS

The composition of emissions generated during the decomposition of individual fractions of bioorganic waste has been studied, the ratio of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in them has been determined. It has been shown that the emissions at the first stage of composting contain eight classes of VOCs, including those with a strong odor, such as indole, methanethiol, dimethyl sulfide, etc. The effectiveness of the experimental biological additive (biodrug) “Liquidator-2” has been assessed. The need to modify the formulation of biological products for some waste fractions to ensure the degradation of dominant odorous substances has been identified.
