КУРЬЁЗЫ ТАНКОВОЙ КОНСТРУКТОРСКОЙ МЫСЛИ: ШАРОМОБИЛЬ ЯРМОЛЬЧУКА

В статье рассматривается проект бронеавтомобиля системы Ярмольчука на шаровом движителе. На основании материалов из открытых источников и архивных документов тема советской конструкторской мысли в предвоенный период дополнена данными о ещё одном потенциальном пути развития бронесил Советского Союза. Путём применения метода контрфактического моделирования определены перспективы данного вида техники.

CURIOSITIES OF TANK DESIGN THOUGHT: YARMOLCHUK'S BALL ARMORED CAR

The article discusses the project of an armored car of the Yarmolchuk system on a ball propulsion. On the basis of materials from open sources and archival documents, the topic of Soviet design thought in the pre-war period is supplemented with data on another potential path of development of the armored forces of the Soviet Union. By applying the method of counterfactual modeling, the prospects of this type of technology are determined.
