Myth, culture, traditions and a unique product can be synonymous with a legend that has been born since European colonizers arrived in Cuba in the XIV century. At the beginning of the 14th century, when the Spaniards arrived in Cuba, they saw that their locals were addicted to smoking tobacco. They believed that tobacco was a kind of cure for headaches. It can be considered that tobacco smoking is a cultural heritage from their ancestors. Therefore, studying the tobacco industry in Cuba is a priority for me.
