Nowadays, our civilization is challenged by the greatest pandemic the modern world has ever known. This dramatic situation changed the current educational methods and approaches drastically. The system of education was transformed totally. Thank to modern mass media and digital technologies, we have an opportunity to pass from face-to-face learning to remote learning with the help of digital programs. Due to globalization processes during the last decencies studying and foreign languages teaching has become very important for pupils and students. We can't even imagine modern life without communicating in foreign languages. They are used in the policy, international relationships, studying processes. The learning/teaching processes are considered to be rather sophisticated because every student has individual personal traits of character, psychological features, and language skills, so an individual approach should be used. Is it possible to study a foreign language without direct contact with a teacher? It's a rather contradictious question. According to some scientists' opinion, the face-to-face learning process is about 20% more effective than remote studying. But it's common knowledge that even before the pandemic, the modern schools of foreign languages were based on distant studying (via programs, for example, Skype or Zoom). So, what is the best way to make the remote lessons as effective as the face-to-face process? What methods and approaches should be introduced in this case? It's a fundamental question because we have to increase the effectiveness of remote studying. The technologies of virtual labs that represent material in unique, accessible, and understandable forms are essential in this case. Time is the most crucial source in modern society. We should find ways to provide an effective remote process of foreign language teaching using the scientific experience and the latest educational programs to adopt the educational system for the new life conditions.
