The article is written on the subject of peculiarities of learning foreign language and is devoted to the significance of psychological aspect of intercultural communication due to the coronavirus. The pandemic has created an environment where many determinants of mental health are afflicted. Examples include reduced social contact, complete disappearance of personal intercultural communication due to the borders being closed. The sense of national and international identity and intercultural cooperation, social network activity, various types of carrying out intercultural collaboration, new issues arising in inter-group contact and how these alter our relationships with each other on every level of culture or affirm interculture at such difficult times, as well as some research areas are affected by the coronavirus infection.Moreover, the global pandemic has had a crucial impact on educational system. The lockdowns have ruined habitual process of studying everywhere: in each school and university worldwide. While the educational community have made cooperative efforts to maintain learning continuity during this time, children and students had to get used to their new resources to continue learning remotely via the Internet and streaming services. For instance, many educational institutions now engage technology (such as Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc.) in studying process. Consequently, the educational system has no other choice than to adapt to constantly changing situation globally. The research is conducted on the aforementioned issue. The materials analyzed include the statistics on the daily COVID-19 infection rate and human mobility; coronavirus impact on global education; pandemic and anxiety & depression; changes in communication rates among different cultures. The article is based on theoretical methods (the study of psychological, pedagogical, and methodological literature; comparison and generalization of the research results), and mathematical research methods (ranking, statistical method) contributed to the achievement of the goal: determination of the real influence that pandemic has had on the way we perceive dialogues between cultures.
