MULTILINGUAL EDUCATIONAL-METHODOLOGICAL COMPLEX AS A NEW MEANS OF TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO APPLICANTS OF MEDICAL SCHOOLS

The article describes a multilingual educational-methodological complex, “Medical Russian”, which was proven to be the most efficient and intensive, methodically verified, relevant and consistent in conditions of strict time limitations and insufficiently formed competence in Russian as a foreign language. In this multilingual educational- methodological complex, where there is a common “Russian part” but other components are different, the author realizes the methodological strategy for developing professional and communicative competence in foreign students. Foreign-language components are presented in English, French and Spanish. This complex was tested at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The testing results showed the advantages of this teaching aids design for the pre-university stage of teaching Russian as a foreign language. Students of a multiethnic group can work at the same pace, however, each of them receives additional methodological help in the language which is more convenient for them to perceive information.
