Подходы России и стран Запада к оценке событий Евромайдана на Украине (2013-2014 гг.)

В статье авторы анализируют события антиконституционного государственного переворота (Евромайдана), которые стали началом украинского кризиса и привели к серьезной трансформации системы региональной безопасности в Европе. На основе изученного фактического материала авторы сравнивают позиции России и стран Запада (в частности, США и Европейского союза), а также выявляют различия в подходахсторон к кризисным событиям на Украине 2013-2014 гг. В ходе проведённого исследования сделаны выводы, позволяющие понять суть тех событий, которые привели к острому кризису в отношениях между Россией и Западом со времен окончания холодной войны.

Approaches of Russia and the Western nations to appraisal of the Ukraine crisis events (2013-2014)

In the article, the authors analyse events of anti-presidential coup d’état (the so-called "Euromaidan") which entailed the considerable human victims in the territory of the Ukraine and led to serious transformation of regional security system in Europe. On the basis of the studied actual material, the authors compare positions of Russia and the Western nations (in particular the USA and the European Union) and also reveal differences in approaches of the parts to crisis events in the Ukraine in 2013-2014. During the conducted research, conclusions which allow understanding disadvantage of those events for Russia are drawn and that has led to the most acute crisis in the relations between Russia and the West since the end of "Cold War".
