ANALYSIS OF SOCIOLOGY DATA IN THE STATISTICAL PACKAGE SPSS

Methods of processing and analysis of sociological data are considered. The first part of the work presents a one-dimensional descriptive analysis of sociological data. This section describes the main levels of measurement of variables, as well as a classification of descriptive statistics by groups. One-dimensional descriptive analysis is demonstrated on the example of a survey among citizens of a city before the future elections of the ruling party. The final part of the work describes the procedure of a two-dimensional analysis of sociological data, where the conjugacy tables are most interesting. Two-dimensional analysis is demonstrated on the same example: the dependence of the age of the respondent on his electoral activity is investigated. Data analysis was carried out through the statistical package SPSS. The obtained results allowed to conclude that the methods used for this data type are optimal and allow you to achieve your goals.
