ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT SITUATION ON THE MARKET OF COMPULSORY MOROR THIRD PARTY LIABILITY (MTPL)

The article analyzes the basics of compulsory motor third party liability insurance (MTPL), which is included in the top three insurance products, which brings the largest income to insurance companies. In the author's opinion, the stabilization of the situation in the compulsory motor third party market will make a huge contribution to the stable development of the insurance market as a whole. The author made the calculation of the insurance premium, which the insurance company receives, for taking on insurance liabilities in the case that the insured event occurred, according to the current procedure. The essence of this technique consists in multiplying the coefficients to which certain numerical values are assigned, in accordance with the conditions under consideration. Based on the calculations performed, the analysis of the development prospects for both MTPL and the entire insurance market as a whole is presented.
