Worldwide Petrochemical and Refinery Activities. Assessment of the Impact of Industrial AirEmissions on Human Health

In recent years, increasing attention has been focused on the health implications of large industrial establishments. Studying human health in areas with industrial contamination is complex. The framework is supported by examples related to the adverse effects of petrochemical industries on environment and health. Risk assessment is a tool used in risk management. It is the process that scientists and government officials use to estimate the increased risk of health problems in people who are exposed to different amounts of toxic substances.
