PREVALENCE AND PERSISTING PULMONARY CONGESTION AT DISCHARGE, ACCORDING TO THE ULTRASOUND SCANNING OF THE LUNGS IN PATIENTS WITH HEART FAILURE

Investigate in patients with DHF the frequency and severity of pulmonary congestion at admission and at discharge using the ultrasonic examination of the lungs. All patients at admission observed pulmonary congestion according to the ultrasound scanning of the lungs. At discharge, residual pulmonary congestion was detected in 56% of patients. Patients with residual congestion is characterized by smaller EF and high level of natriuretic peptides and serum creatinine.
