Private International Law in Lebanon

This article provides an overview of the sources of private international law in Lebanon and the matters that are regulated by private international law in Lebanon, thereby leading to the difference between private and public international law as understood by Lebanese doctrine. The author explains the base of attribution as a way for resolving conflicts between laws under private international law. The author notes the special characteristics that private international law has in comparison with other branches in Lebanese law.
