Влияние полиморфизма G-105A гена SEPS1 на репродуктивную функцию мужчин

Представлены результаты изучения роли полиморфизма G-105A гена SEPS1 в развитии бесплодия у мужчин Московского региона.

Polymorhism SEPS1 G-105A influences the male infertility

Recently the G-105A promoter polymorphism in SEPS has been shown to increase pro-inflammatory cytokine expression and thus to be correlated with various types of human diseases. The study was examined whether this polymorphism was related to the risks of infertility in men in Moscow region. The results showed that carries of the G-105A polymorphism in the SEPS1 gene are at increased risk of developing azoospermia. Such findings suggest that SEPS1 may be a potential gene marker for idiopatic infertility in men. Larger population-based studies are needed for clarifieng the relation betwin man infertility and SEPS1 -105G/A single nucleotide polymorphism.
